વાર્ષિક રમતોત્સવ ૨૦૨૫ ખૂબ ઉત્સાહ અને સાચા ક્રીડાપ્રેમની ભાવના સાથે ઉજવાયો. વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ વિવિધ રમતોમાં હૃદયપૂર્વક ભાગ લીધો, તેમના ધૈર્ય, ઊર્જા અને ટીમવર્કનું પ્રદર્શન કર્યું. આ ઉત્સવોએ ધીરજ, ન્યાયપૂર્વકની રમત અને પ્રતિબદ્ધતાની મૂલ્યોને ઉજાગર કર્યા, જે આ મંતવ્યને મજબૂત બનાવે છે કે વિજેતાઓ ક્યારેય હાર માનતા નથી અને હાર માનનારા ક્યારેય વિજેતા બની શકતા નથી.

ડૉન બોસ્કો હાઇસ્કૂલ કવાંટ ખાતે ૩૧મો વાર્ષિક રમતોત્સવ ઉજવાયો

યુવા પ્રવૃત્તિઓ માટે મોખરાનું સ્થાન ધરાવનાર કવાંટની ડૉન બોસ્કો હાઇસ્કૂલે તા. ૨૫મી નવેમ્બરના રોજ પોતાનો ૩૧મો વાર્ષિક રમતોત્સવ આનંદ અને ઉત્સાહભેર ઉજવ્યો હતો. પ્રસ્તુત રમતોત્સવમાં અતિથિ વિશેષ તરીકે અલીરાજપુરના ફાધર મેથ્યુ કટારા ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યાં હતા. સ્પોર્ટ ડે ની શરૂઆત દીપ પ્રાગટ્ય અને મશાલ પ્રગટાવીને કરવામાં આવી હતી જેમાં અતિથિ ફાધરો અને સીસ્ટરો સહભાગી થયા હાતાં. ત્યારબાદ ફલેગ માર્ચ થઇ હતી જેમાં સ્કાઉટ ગાઇડના નેતૃત્વ હેઠળ શાળાની જુદીજુદી ટૂકડીઓએ સંગીતના સુરે કદમતાલ કરીને અતિથિઓનું સેલ્યુટ દ્વારા અભિવાદન કર્યું હતું. આ પ્રસંગો પ્રાર્થના નૃત્ય, સાંસ્કૃતિક નૃત્ય, ઝુંબા ડાન્સ તથા પિરામીડ જેવા પરફોર્મન્સ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ દ્વારા રજૂ કરવમાં આવ્યા હતા. ડૉન બોસ્કો કવાંટના રેક્ટર ફાધર ડૉ. Mayank Parmar દ્વારા પ્રસંગને અનુરૂપ પ્રવચન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. ડૉન બોસ્કો હાઇસ્કૂલ ગુજરાતી માધ્યમનો ૩૧મો જ્યારે અંગ્રેજી માધ્યમનો ૮મા રમતોત્સવને ટાણે આચાર્ય ફાધર Ajay Shelke તથા ફાધર Agnel Dias દ્વારા મહત્વની ભૂમિકાઓ અદા થઈ હતી. આજના દિવસે ૫૦થી માંડીને ૮૦૦ મીટર દોડ, લાંબીકુદ, ગોળાફેંક. ચક્રફેંક, ભાલાફેંક, સ્ટેન્ડીંગ બ્રોડ જમ્પ, લીંબુ ચમચી, કોથળા દોડ, પેનલ્ટી ગોલ, બુક બેલેન્સ જેવી રમતોનું આયોજન થયું હતું જેમાં સિનિયર વિભાગ ભાઇઓમાં રાઠવા આદિત, સિનિયર વિભાગ બહેનોમાં ભીલ સુરેખા, જુનિયર વિભાગ ભાઇઓમાં રાઠવા ઋત્વિક, જુનિયર વિભાગ બહેનોમાં રાઠવા હંસા, મધ્યમ વિભાગ ભાઇઓમાં રાઠવા વિશાલ, મધ્યમ વિભાગ બહેનોમાં રાઠવા દ્રષ્ટિની સાથોસાથ વાદળી, પીળી અને લીલી એમ સમગ્ર ટૂકડીઓ પણ વિજેતા થઇ હતી જેમને પ્રમાણપત્રો તથા ટ્રોફીથી નવાજવામાં આવ્યા હતા. સમગ્ર કાર્યક્રમ દરમિયાન બ્રધર મેલ્વિન, બ્રધર અંકિત તથા સ્ટાફ ખડે પગે રહ્યો હતો.

31st Annual Sports Day Celebrated at Don Bosco High School, Kawant

Don Bosco High School, Kawant, which holds a prominent place in youth activities, celebrated its 31st Annual Sports Day with joy and enthusiasm on November 25. Father Mathew Katara from Alirajpur was present as the chief guest for the occasion.

The Sports Day began with the lighting of the lamp and torch, in which the guest fathers and sisters also participated. This was followed by a flag march, led by the Scout and Guide team, where different school contingents saluted the guests to the rhythm of music.

The programme included performances such as prayer dance, cultural dance, Zumba, and pyramid displays, presented by the students. Father Dr. Mayank Parmar, Rector of Don Bosco Kawant, delivered a speech appropriate to the occasion. For this Sports Day, it was the 31st edition for the Gujarati-medium school and the 8th edition for the English-medium school, with the school principals Father Ajay Shelke and Father Agnel Dias playing significant roles.

On this day, events such as 50 to 800-meter races, long jump, shot put, discus throw, javelin throw, standing broad jump, lemon-and-spoon race, sack race, penalty goal, and book balance were organized. The winners were:

• Senior Boys: Rathwa Adit

• Senior Girls: Bhil Surekha

• Junior Boys: Rathwa Ritvik

• Junior Girls: Rathwa Hansa

• Middle Boys: Rathwa Vishal

• Middle Girls: Rathwa Drashti

Additionally, the Blue, Yellow, and Green teams also emerged as overall winners and were honored with certificates and trophies.

Throughout the programme, Brother Melvin, Brother Ankit, and the staff were actively present and supervising the events.

On November 20, a basketball tournament under the Khel Mahakumbh was organized at Don Bosco Kawant. The tournament was held at 9:00 a.m. in the presence of the institution’s Rector, Father Dr. Mayank Parmar; the school principal, Father Ajay; and the English-medium principal, Father Agnel. The tournament was conducted in three categories: Open, Under-14, and Under-17. In the Under-14 category, Don Bosco Kawant’s team emerged victorious, while Kawant FC won in the Open category and Don Bosco Chhota Udepur’s team won in the Under-17 category. It is noteworthy that the winning teams will now compete at the zonal level.

કુપોષણને નાથવા તથા શારિરીક ક્ષમતાવર્ધનના હેતુસર ડૉન બોસ્કો ક્વાંટ ખાતે બાળમેળો યોજાયો.

કુપોષણને નાથવા શારિરીક ક્ષમતાવર્ધનના હેતુસર ડૉન બોસ્કો ક્વાંટ ખાતે તા.12મી નવેમ્બરના રોજ બાળમેળો યોજાયો. માજી વિદ્યાર્થી સંઘ કવાંટ, દિશા ડૉન બોસ્કો તથા વાલી વિદ્યાર્થી મંડળ કવાંટના સંયુક્ત ઉપક્રમે શાળાના પટાંગણમાં સવારના ૯:૦૦ થી બપોરના ૧૨:૦૦ સુધી ચાલેલા આ મેળામાં વિવિધ રમતો દ્વારા બાળકોના શારિરીક વિકાસને વિકસાવવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. નિરોગી બાળ સ્વસ્થ્ય સમાજ પર ધ્યાન દોરવાના ભાગરૂપે યોજાયેલ પ્રસ્તુત બાળમેળામાં તૈયાર પડીકા પ્રોડેક્ટસ (જંકફૂડ)ને સ્થાને સંસ્થાના સંકુલમાં બાળ આરોગ્યને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને બનાવેલ પાણીપુરી, વેજ પુલાવ, ભજીયાં, રસના, ભેળપૂરી તથા અન્ય પૌષ્ટિક આહારના વિવિધ સ્ટોલ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. બાળકોના સ્વાસ્થ્ય અને આનંદને વધારનાર આ આનંદ મેળામાંથી થનાર આવકને જરૂરિયાતમંદો માટે ઉપયોગમાં લેવામાં આવશે. આ પ્રસંગે સંસ્થાના રેકટર ડૉ.ફાધર Mayank Parmar , શાળાના આચાર્ય ફાધર Ajay Shelke , ફાધર Agnel Dias , વહીવટદાર બ્રધર મેલ્વિન, નિકોલભવનના સિસ્ટરો, વિદ્યાર્થીઓ તથા વાલીઓ મોટી સંખ્યામાં ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યા હતા.

Children’s Fair Organized at Don Bosco Kwant to Combat Malnutrition and Enhance Physical Fitness

With the objective of combating malnutrition and enhancing physical fitness, a Children’s Fair was organized at Don Bosco Kwant on November 12. This fair, jointly organized by the Kawant Alumni Association, DISHA Don Bosco, and the Parent–Teacher Association of Kawant, was held on the school grounds from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Through various games, efforts were made to promote the physical development of children.

As part of raising awareness about a healthy child and a healthy society, the fair avoided ready-made packaged products (junk food). Instead, keeping children’s health in mind, various stalls offering nutritious food such as pani puri, veg pulao, bhajiyas, rasna, bhel puri, and other healthy items prepared within the campus were set up. The income generated from this joyful fair, which enhanced children’s health and happiness, will be utilized for the benefit of the needy.

On this occasion, the Rector of the institution, Dr. Father Mayank Parmar; the school principal, Father Ajay Shelke; Father Agnel Dias; the administrator, Brother Melvin; the Sisters of Nikolahvan; students; and a large number of parents were present.

ડૉન બોસ્કો કવાંટ ખાતે ત્રિદિવસીય દિવાળી કેમ્પનો આજથી શુભારંભ

કવાંટ તાલુકાની શૈક્ષણિક આલમમાં મહત્વનું સ્થાન ધરાવનાર ડૉન બોસ્કો કવાંટ ખાતે આજે સવારે ૯:૦૦ વાગે ઇનોગ્રેશન કાર્યક્રમથી ત્રિદિવસીય દિવાળી કેમ્પની શરૂઆત થઈ છે. આ પ્રસંગે સંસ્થાના રેકટર ફા. ડૉ. Mayank Parmar , શાળાના આચાર્ય તથા વાઇસ રેકટર ફા. Ajay Shelke , અંગ્રેજી માધ્યમના આચાર્ય તથા હોસ્ટેલ ઇન્ચાર્જ ફા. Agnel Dias , સંસ્થાના વહીવટદાર બ્રધર મેલ્વિન, બ્રધર અંકિત, સિસ્ટર હીના, તાલીમકાર Ratilal R Jadav , હસમુખ ક્રિશ્ચિયન, આનંદ મેકવાન તથા દિશા સ્ટાફ અરવિંદ રાઠવા અને નરેશ રાઠવા ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યાં હતાં. પ્રાસંગિક પ્રવચનમાં ફાધર મયંકે પ્રસ્તુત વર્કશોપને જીવન ઉપયોગી બનાવવા ધોરણ ૮,૯ ના શિબિરાર્થીઓને હાંકલ કરી હતી.ફાધર અજયે રતન ટાટા તથા ફાધર આગ્નેલે સ્ટીવ જોબ્સના દૃષ્ટાંત દ્વારા પ્રસ્તુત કેમ્પને વ્યક્તિત્વ વિકાસની ઉમદા તક સાથે જોડ્યો હતો. બ્રધર મેલ્વિન તથા સિસ્ટર હીનાએ પોતીકા અનુભવો શેર કરીને કેમ્પનું મહત્વ સમજાવ્યું હતું.

15મી સપ્ટે.ના રોજ કવાંટ ખાતે આવેલી ડૉન બોસ્કો હાઇસ્કૂલમાં વિજ્ઞાન મેળો યોજાયો હતો જેમાં શાળાના વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ જળવિદ્યુત, સોલરવિદ્યુત, ખેતરના પીએચની ચકાસણી, દ્વનિમાં રહેલ ઉર્જાની ચકાસણી, પોટેટો ગન, પ્લાઝ્મા કેનલગન જેવા નાના મોટા 40 જેટલા મોડેલ રજુ કર્યા હતા. આ પ્રસંગે સંસ્થાના રેક્ટર ફાધર ડૉ. મયંક પરમાર દ્વારા પ્રેરણાત્મક પ્રવચન પુરું પાડવામાં આવ્યું હતું. પ્રસ્તુત વિજ્ઞાન મેળાની મુલાકત લીટલ ફ્લાવર ઇંગ્લિશ મીડીયમ સ્કૂલ કવાંટ, સેંટ દોમેનિકન ઇંગ્લિશ મીડીયમ સ્કૂલ કવાંટ, ડૉન બોસ્કો સ્કૂલ છોટાઉદેપુર, વિદ્યા વિનય પ્રા.સ્કૂલ કવાંટ જેવી શાળાઓના વિદ્યાર્થી તથા દિશા સંસ્થાના તાલિમાર્થીઓએ લીધી હતી. આ પ્રસંગે ડૉન બોસ્કો ઈંગ્લીશ મીડિયમ હાઇસ્કુલ કવાંટના આચાર્ચ ફાધર આગ્નેલ દ્વારા સહુ પ્રતિ આભારની લાગણી વ્યક્ત કરીને વિજ્ઞાન મેળાના સફળ આયોજન બદલ સ્ટાફ મિત્રોને શુભેચ્છાઓ પાઠવવામાં આવી હતી.
Science Fair organized at Don Bosco High School, Kawant

On 15 September, a Science Fair was organized at Don Bosco High School, Kawant. In this fair, the students of the school presented around 40 small and large models, including hydroelectric power, solar power, testing of soil pH in fields, testing of energy in sound, potato gun, and plasma cannon gun. On this occasion, the Rector of the institution, Father Dr. Mayank Parmar, delivered an inspiring address.

Students from schools such as Little Flower English Medium School Kawant, St. Dominican English Medium School Kawant, Don Bosco School Chhota Udepur, Vidya Vinay Primary School Kawant, as well as trainees from the Disha Institute, visited the science fair. On this occasion, Father Agnel, Principal of Don Bosco English Medium High School, Kawant, expressed gratitude to everyone and congratulated the staff for the successful organization of the science fair.

અંડર-14 બાસ્કેટબોલ ટુર્નામેન્ટમાં ડોન બોસ્કો કવાંટની ટીમ જીલ્લા કક્ષાએ વિજેતા.

9મી સપ્ટે.2025ના રોજ છોટાઉદેપુરમાં આવેલ ડોન બોસ્કો મેદાન  ખાતે સ્કુલ ગેઇમ્સ ફેડરેશન ઓફ ઇન્ડિયા (SGFI) દ્વારા યોજાયેલ જીલ્લા કક્ષાની અંડર-14 બાસ્કેટબોલ ટુર્નામેન્ટમાં ડોન બોસ્કો હાઇસ્કૂલ કવાંટની ટીમે છોટાઉદેપુરની ટીમને 15-0 થી હરાવીને રાજ્ય કક્ષા માટે ક્વાલીફાય કર્યું છે. ડોન બોસ્કો કવાંટની ટીમની આ સફળતાનો શ્રેય કોચ અજય રાઠવા, ટીમના ખેલાડીઓ, શાળાના આચાર્ય ફાધર અજય, ફાધર આગ્નેલ તથા સ્ટાફને ફાળે જાય છે.
On 9 September 2025, at the Don Bosco ground in Chhota Udepur, during the district-level Under-14 Basketball Tournament organized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), the Don Bosco High School, Kawant team defeated the Chhota Udepur team 15–0 and qualified for the state level. The credit for this success goes to coach Ajay Rathwa, the team players, the school principal Father Ajay, Father Agnel, and the staff. 

ડૉન બોસ્કો હાઇસ્કુલ કવાંટ ખાતે શિક્ષક દિન ઉજવાયો.

તા. 04/09/2025ના રોજ છોટાઉદેપુર જિલ્લાના તાલુકા મથક કવાંટ ખાતે આવેલી ડૉન બોસ્કો હાઇસ્કુલ કવાંટમાં શિક્ષકદિન ઉજવવામાં આવ્યો હતો. આ દિવસે શાળાના વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ શિક્ષકોની ભૂમિકા અદા કરીને શિક્ષક તરીકેની અનુભૂતિ કરી હતી. ડૉ. સર્વપલ્લી રાધાકૃષ્ણન ના માનમાં ઉજવાયેલ આ દિવસે સાંસ્કૃતિક કાર્યક્રમની શરૂઆત ધો- ૮ અંગ્રેજી માધ્યમની વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓના પ્રાર્થના નૃત્યથી કરવામાં આવી હતી. ત્યારબાદ સંસ્થાના રેક્ટર ફાધર ડૉ. મયંક પરમારે વાર્તા કથન દ્વારા આજના દિવસનો મહિમા સમજાવ્યો હતો. પોતાના પ્રાસંગિક પ્રવચનમાં તેમણે શિક્ષકોને પથદર્શક ગણાવ્યા હતા. ત્યારબાદ ધોરણ 10 ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓનો રીમીક્સ ડાન્સ,  ધો-9 ની વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓએ રજૂ કરેલું નાટક, ધો-7 ની વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓનું ગીત જેવા વિવિધ કાર્યક્રમોએ વાતાવરણને આનંદ અને ઉલ્લાસ ભર્યું બનાવી દીધું હતું. વિદ્યાર્થીઓના કાર્યક્રમ બાદ શિક્ષકોએ પણ ડાન્સ અને રમતોમાં સક્રિય રીતે ભાગ લીધો હતો. આ પ્રસંગે માજી વિદ્યાર્થી સંઘ કવાંટ તથા પી.ટી.એ. ના સભ્યોએ હાજર રહીને તમામ શિક્ષકોને શોલ ઓઢાડી, મોમેન્ટો આપીને સન્માનિત કર્યાં હતા. આ દિવસે બોસ્કોગ્રામ સામયિક પણ લોંચ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. સફળ અને પ્રેરણાત્મક ઉજવણી બદલ શાળાના આચાર્ય ફાધર અજય તથા કોકિલા ટીચર દ્વારા સહુનો આભાર માનવામાં આવ્યો હતો. સમગ્ર કાર્યક્રમનું સફળ સંચાલન ધો-10 ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ કર્યું હતું.
Teacher’s Day was celebrated at Don Bosco High School, Kawant on 04/09/2025. Students took on the roles of teachers and experienced teaching for a day. The program began with a prayer dance by Std. 8 English Medium students. Father Dr. Mayank Parmar explained the importance of Teacher’s Day and praised teachers as guides. Cultural events such as dances, drama, and songs by students of Stds. 7, 9, and 10 created a joyful atmosphere. Teachers also participated in dances and games. Past Pupils’ Association and PTA members honored teachers with shawls and mementos. The “Boscogram” magazine was launched, and Father Ajay and Kokila Teacher thanked everyone. The program was managed by Std. 10 students.

તા. 01/09/2025 ના રોજ કમિશ્નરશ્રી, યુવક સેવા અને સાંસ્કૃતિક પ્રવૃત્તિઓ, ગાંધીનગરના ઉપક્રમે જિલ્લા યુવા અને સાંસ્કૃતિક પ્રવૃત્તિઓની કચેરી છોટાઉદેપુર દ્વારા શ્રીમતી વી.આર. શાહ સાર્વજનિક હાઇસ્કુલ પાવી જેતપુર ખાતે જીલ્લાકક્ષાની કલા-મહાકુંભ સ્પર્ધા 2025-26 નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું જેમાં કવાંટ, નસવાડી, છોટાઉદેપુર, સંખેડા અને પાવી જેતપુર એમ મળીને પાંચ તાલુકામાં લોકનૃત્યમાં પ્રથમ નંબરે આવેલ ટીમોની હરિફાઇ યોજાય હતી. પ્રસ્તુત સ્પર્ધામાં ડૉન બોસ્કો હાઇસ્કુલ કવાંટની ટીમે વાજીંત્રોના તાલે, આનંદ અને ઉલ્લાસથી આદિવાસી લોકનૃત્ય રજું કરીને જિલ્લામાં પ્રથમ સ્થાન મેળવ્યું છે. હવે આ ટીમ ઝોનકક્ષાની સ્પર્ધામાં ભાગ લેશે. ડૉન બોસ્કો હાઇસ્કુલ કવાંટની આ સફળતાનો શ્રેય શાળાના આચાર્ય ફાધર અજય, ફાધર આગ્નેલ, સ્ટાફ તથા આદિવાસી નૃત્યની ટીમને ફાળે જાય છે.

Grand parents day celebration at Don Bosco Schools (Guj-Eng) Kawant on August 21, 2025. The children garlanded their grand parents. The grand parents expressed their gratitude to the management and schools for organising this event. This was a memorable experience for all.
21 ઓગસ્ટ, 2025ના રોજ ડૉન બોસ્કો સ્કૂલ્સ (ગુજરાતી–અંગ્રેજી), કવાંટ ખાતે દાદા–દાદી દિવસની ઉજવણી કરવામાં આવી. બાળકો દ્વારા તેમના દાદા–દાદીને હાર પહેરાવવામાં આવ્યા. દાદા–દાદીઓએ આ કાર્યક્રમના આયોજન બદલ સંચાલન અને શાળાનો આભાર વ્યક્ત કર્યો. આ પ્રસંગ સૌ માટે એક યાદગાર અનુભવ રહ્યો. 

79th Independence Day Celebrated at Don Bosco Kawant Under the Chairmanship of a Retired Soldier

On 15th August 2025, the 79th Independence Day was grandly celebrated at Don Bosco Kawant under the chairmanship of former Don Bosco Kawant student Chennsing Rathwa, who retired after serving 18 years in the Indian Army.

The cultural programmes presented by the students captivated everyone.

The event was graced by the presence of the institution’s Rector Rev. Fr. Dr. Mayank Parmar, School Principal Rev. Fr. Ajay, Rev. Fr. Agnel, Administrator Br. Melvin, Br. Ankit, school staff, Bridge Course trainees, staff of Disha organization, alumni, and current students.

તા. ૧૫મી ઓગસ્ટ ૨૦૨૫ના રોજ ડૉન બોસ્કો કવાંટ ખાતે સેનામાં ૧૮ વર્ષની સેવા બાદ નિવૃત્ત થયેલા ડૉન બોસ્કો હાઇસ્કુલ કવાંટના ભૂતપૂર્વ  વિદ્યાર્થી ચેનસિંગ રાઠવાની અધ્યક્ષતામાં ૭૯મો સ્વતંત્રતા દિન ધામધુમથી ઉજવાયો હતો. વિદ્યાર્થીઓ દ્વારા રજૂ થયેલા  સાંસ્કૃતિક કાર્યક્રમોએ સહુને મંત્રમુગ્ધ કરી દીધા હતા. આ પ્રસંગે સંસ્થાના રેકટર ફાધર ડૉ. મયંક પરમાર, શાળાના આચાર્ય ફાધર અજય, ફાધર આગ્નેલ, વહીવટદાર બ્રધર મેલ્વિન, બ્રધર અંકિત, શાળાનો સ્ટાફ, બ્રિજ કોર્સના તાલીમાર્થીઓ, દિશા સંસ્થાનો સ્ટાફ, ભૂતપૂર્વ વિદ્યાર્થી તથા વર્તમાન વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યા હતા.

World Tribal Day Celebrated at Don Bosco Kawant in the Presence of Padma Shri Paresh Rathwa

World Tribal Day was celebrated at Don Bosco High School Kawant on 08/08/2025 in the presence of Padma Shri awardee Shri Paresh Rathwa, who received the honour from the Honorable President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, for his contribution in the field of art.

On this occasion, the invited guests delivered meaningful speeches, and the students presented cultural programmes highlighting tribal culture.

Don Bosco Kawant’s Volleyball Team Shines at Taluka Level

On 7th August, at the Eklavya Model School, Kawant, the Under-17 Girls Volleyball Team of Don Bosco Kawant defeated the GLRS Saidiwasan team, securing victory at the taluka level. Very soon, the team will now compete at the district level.

The credit for this achievement goes to the dedicated players, Captain Kusum, Coach Ajay Rathwa, and the school leadership — Father Ajay Shelke (Principal, Gujarati Medium), Father Agnel Dias (Principal, English Medium), and all the staff members.

Adding yet another feather to Kawant’s crown, Father Dr. Mayank Parmar (Rector),Administrative Brother Melvin, Brother Ankit, and the entire Don Bosco Kawant family extend heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the team.

Certificates Awarded to Trainees of the 'Bridge Course' at Don Bosco, Kawant.

On August 2nd, certificates were awarded to around 21 young men and women of the fourth batch who successfully completed the Bridge Course at Don Bosco, Kawant. At the same event, students of the fifth batch, starting from today, were given a warm welcome.

Present as chief guests on the occasion were Rotary Club Jawaharnagar, Vadodara President Mr. Mitesh Vadhai, former President Mr. Umed Fifadra, Mr. Manoj Adalja, Mr. Kirit Dholakia, Rector of Don Bosco Kawant Father Dr. Mayank Parmar, School Principal Father Ajay, Father Agnel, Brother Melvin, and Muni Seva Ashram Goraj representative Mr. Rajeshbhai. Their presence added grace to the event.

Don Bosco Kawant Football Team Departs for State-Level Matches in Surat

The Under-15 football team of Don Bosco Kawant has departed today for Surat to participate in the state-level matches of the Subrato Cup. On 16th July, the team qualified for the state level by defeating Ma Ma Margaret’s team 4-0 in the district-level tournament held at Chhotaudepur.

It is also noteworthy that the Under-17 girls’ team of Don Bosco Kawant has departed today for Vadgam, Mehsana district to participate in the state-level tournament.

Coach Vijay Rathwa, both team captains, and all players are wished the best to perform impressively and add a new chapter to the glory of Don Bosco Kawant. Heartfelt best wishes have been extended on behalf of Rector Father Mayank, Principal Father Ajay (Gujarati Medium), Principal Father Agnel (English Medium), Administrator Brother Melvin, and the entire staff.

સુબ્રતો કપમાં રાજ્ય કક્ષાએ રમવા માટે ડૉન બોસ્કો કવાંટની અંડર-૧૫ ફૂટબોલ ટીમ આજે સુરત જવા રવાના થઈ છે. ગત તારીખ ૧૬ જુલાઇના રોજ છોટાઉદેપુર ખાતે

યોજાયેલ જીલ્લા કક્ષાની ટુર્નામેન્ટમાં મા મા માર્ગારેટની ટીમને 4-0 થી હરાવ્યા બાદ કવાંટની ટીમે રાજ્ય કક્ષાએ ક્વાલીફાય કર્યું હતું.

અહીં એ ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે ડૉન બોસ્કો કવાંટની અંડર-૧૭ ની ગર્લ્સ ટીમ પણ આજે રાજ્ય કક્ષાની ટુર્નામેન્ટ રમવા માટે મહેસાણા જીલ્લાના વડગામ જવા રવાના થઈ છે. બન્ને ટીમો માટે કોચિંગ કરનાર વિજય રાઠવા સાહેબ, બન્ને કેપ્ટન અને ખેલાડીઓ આજે અપેક્ષિત પ્રદર્શન કરીને ડૉન બોસ્કો કવાંટની યશ ગાથામાં નવો અધ્યાય જોડે તેવી રેકટર ફાધર મયંક, આચાર્ય ફાધર અજય (ગુજ. માધ્યમ),  આચાર્ય ફાધર આગ્નેલ (અંગ્રેજી. માધ્યમ), એડમીનીસ્ટ્રેટર બ્રધર મેલ્વિન તથા સમગ્ર સ્ટાફ તરફથી શુભેચ્છાઓ.

Don Bosco Kawant Football Team Triumphs in Subrato Cup Tournament

On 16th July 2025, the Don Bosco Kawant football team emerged victorious in the Under-15 football tournament held at Chhotaudepur Police Ground, Khutaliya.

The tournament featured teams from Don Bosco Kawant, Chhotaudepur, Sunrise, Ma Ma Margaret, and Khutaliya. In the final round, Don Bosco Kawant defeated Ma Ma Margaret’s team 4-0, thereby qualifying for the state-level competition.

Credit for this achievement goes to Captain Aryan Mathur, Coach Vijay Rathwa, Principal Father Ajay, Father Agnel, and the entire staff.

The Kawant team will next compete at the state level against winning teams from various districts of Gujarat. The victorious team at the state level will be awarded the State Champion title.

સુબ્રતો કપ ટુર્નામેન્ટમાં ડોન બોસ્કો કવાંટની ફૂટબોલ ટીમે બાજી મારી.

તા. 16મી જુલાઇ, 2025ના રોજ છોટા ઉદેપુર પોલિસ ગ્રાઉન્ડ ખુટાલીયા ખાતે યોજાયેલ અંડર-15 ની ફૂટબોલ ટુર્નામેન્ટમાં ડોન બોસ્કો કવાંટની ટીમે બાજી મારી છે. પ્રસ્તૂત ટુર્નામેન્ટ ડોન બોસ્કો કવાંટ, છોટા ઉદેપુર, સન રાઇઝ, મા મા માર્ગરેટ તથા ખુટાલીયાની ટીમોએ ભાગ લીધો હતો. ડોન બોસ્કો કવાંટની ટીમે ફાઇનલ રાઉન્ડમાં મા મા માર્ગરેટની ટીમને 4-0 થી હરાવીને સ્ટેટ માટે ક્વાલીફાય કર્યુ છે. કવાંટ ટીમની આ સિદ્ધિનો શ્રેય કેપ્ટન આર્યન મથુર, કોચ વિજય રાઠવા, આચાર્ય ફા. અજય, ફા. આગ્નેલ તથા સમગ્ર સ્ટાફને ફાળે જાય છે. કવાંટની ટીમનો હવે પછીનો મુકાબલો રાજ્ય કક્ષાએ ગુજરાતના જુદા જુદા જીલ્લાઓમાંથી વિજેતા બનીને આવેલી ટીમો સાથે હશે. જો એમાં વિજેતા બનશે તો સ્ટેટ ચેમ્પિયનનું ટાઇટલ મેળવશે.

Workshop on Study Techniques Held at Don Bosco Kawant

A two-hour seminar on study techniques was organized at Don Bosco High School, Kawant, on 12th July with the aim of helping students learn various study methods so that they can choose the ones that suit them and complete their studies more effectively. The seminar was attended by 200 students of standards 9 and 10.

The seminar began with a welcome and introduction of the trainer, Hasmukh Christian, by the English-medium Principal, Father Agnel.

During the seminar, students were informed about well-known study techniques such as Pomodoro and Active Recall. Information was shared in an engaging manner using PowerPoint, covering what these techniques are, how they are useful, and the steps involved in implementing them.

School staff were also present at the event. Students expressed optimism that these different study techniques would greatly benefit their learning process.

ડૉન બોસ્કો કવાંટ ખાતે સ્ટડી ટેકનિક વિષયે વર્કશોપ યોજાયો.

વિદ્યાર્થીઓ જુદી જુદી સ્ટડી ટેકનિક વિષયે માહિતગાર બનીને પોતાને સાનુકૂળ લાગે તેનો ઉપયોગ કરી પોતાના અભ્યાસને અસરકારક રીતે પૂર્ણ કરી શકે તેવા હેતુથી ડૉન બોસ્કો હાઇસ્કુલ કવાંટ ખાતે તા. ૧૨ જુલાઇના રોજ સ્ટડી ટેકનિક વિષયે બે કલાકનો એક સેમિનાર યોજાયો હતો જેમાં ધોરણ ૯ અને ૧૦ ના કુલ ૨૦૦ વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ભાગ લીધો હતો. સેમિનારની શરુઆતમાં અંગ્રેજી માધ્યમના આચાર્ય ફાધર આગ્નેલ દ્વારા તાલીમકાર  હસમુખ ક્રિશ્ચિયનનો આવકાર અને પરિચય કરાવવામાં આવ્યો હતો. પ્રસ્તુત તાલીમમાં ' પોમોડોરો ', એક્ટિવ રિકોલ જેવી જાણીતી સ્ટડી ટેકનિકો વિશે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને માહિતગાર કરાયા હતા. આ ટેકનિકો શું છે ? કેવી રીતે ઉપયોગી બને છે ? તેના ક્યા ક્યા સ્ટેપ્સ છે વિગેરેની માહિતી પાવર પોઇન્ટના માધ્યમથી રસપ્રદ શૈલીમાં પીરસવામાં આવી હતી. આ પ્રસંગે શાળાનો સ્ટાફ પણ ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યો હતો. અભ્યાસની આ જુદી જુદી ટેકનિકોથી ઘણો ફાયદો થશે તેવો આશાવાદ વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ વ્યક્ત કર્યો હતો.

‘School Leadership’ Training Held at Don Bosco Kawant

A training program on leadership was organized at Don Bosco High School, Kawant, on 3rd July 2025 with the objective of enhancing student management and developing leadership skills in students from an early age.

The program was attended by 50 students (25 boys and 25 girls) who were recently elected as monitors through a democratic process.

The training began with an introduction and welcome of the trainer, Mr. Hasmukh Christian, by the School Principal, Father Ajay Shelke.

During the training, various topics were covered using PowerPoint presentations, videos, and activities, including:

• Definitions of leadership by different authors

• Types and characteristics of leadership

• Principles of leadership and skills required for its development

• School leadership, duties, and responsibilities

The training aimed to equip students with confidence, responsibility, and effective leadership qualities to manage tasks and lead their peers.

વિદ્યાર્થી વ્યવસ્થાપન અસરકારક બને તથા વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં વિદ્યાર્થીકાળથી જ નેતૃત્વનું કૌશલ્ય વિકસે તેવા અનેકવિધ હેતુઓને બર લાવવા તા. ૩ જી જુલાઈ ૨૦૨૫ના રોજ ડૉન બોસ્કો હાઇસ્કુલ કવાંટ ખાતે નેતૃત્વ વિષયે તાલીમ યોજાઈ હતી જેમાં તાજેતરમાં લોકતાંત્રિક પદ્ધતિએ સંપન્ન થયેલી મોનીટરની ચૂંટણીમાં ચૂંટાઈ આવેલા ૨૫ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ તથા ૨૫ વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓ એમ મળીને કુલ ૫૦ લોકોએ ભાગ લીધો હતો. તાલીમની શરૂઆત શાળાના આચાર્ય ફાધર અજય દ્વારા તાલીમકાર હસમુખ ક્રિશ્ચિયનના પરિચય તથા સ્વાગત થકી કરવામાં આવી હતી. પ્રસ્તુત તાલીમમાં જુદા જુદા લેખકો દ્વારા આપવામાં આવેલી નેતૃત્વની વ્યાખ્યાઓ, નેતૃત્વના પ્રકાર અને લક્ષણો, નેતૃત્વના સિદ્ધાંતો અને તેના વિકાસ માટે જરૂરી આવડતો, શાળાકીય નેતૃત્વ, ફરજો અને જવબદારીઓ જેવા અનેક મુદ્દાઓની છણાવટ પી.પી.ટી. વિડિયો અને પ્રવૃત્તિઓ મારફતે કરવામાં આવી હતી.

On the occasion of Teacher's Day today on 5th September 2023, the President of the Ex-Students' Union and his delegation came to Don Bosco School Kawant and honored all the teachers with shawls and garlands which truly expressed the feelings of the student towards the Guru.

શિક્ષક દિન નિમિત્તે આજે 5મી સપ્ટેમ્બર 2023ના રોજ માજી વિદ્યાર્થી સંઘના પ્રમુખ અને તેમના પ્રતિનિધિ મંડળે ડોન બોસ્કો શાળા કવાંટમાં આવીને બધા જ શિક્ષક ગણને શાલ અને ફૂલહારથી સન્માનિત કર્યા હતા જે ખરેખર શિષ્યની ગુરુ પ્રત્યેની લાગણી વ્યક્ત થતી હતી.
